Enjoy this Cairo City Break for 2 days with a personal tour guide to visit the major sights like Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo and many more.

Day 1
Our qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 8am and drive you in air-conditioned vehicle to the Pyramids of Giza. Firstly, you will see the largest pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), known as the Great Pyramid, is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the World that still survives. Next to the great pyramid there are the pyramids of the son Chephren and the grandson Mycarinous, you'll be able to take a close up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, the place where the priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid.

Then you'll enjoy lunch at a nice local restaurant, before proceeding to Saqqara (the necropolis of the Ancient Egyptians) to view the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's oldest large-scale stone monument. Learn why it was built.
Then Back to your hotel.

Day 2
Egypt Joy expert Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel again at 8am and drive you in air-conditioned vehicle to enjoy discovering the most interesting museum, Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), which is considered to be world's largest archeological museum, and it displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 120,000 artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1922, when his tomb was excavated.

Lunch will be served at a nice local restaurant before proceeding to visit Mohamed Ali's Alabaster Mosque, which is situated on the summit of the Citadel of Salah El Din (constructed in 1183 AD), this Ottoman mosque is the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century, and the most visible mosque in Cairo.

Continue driving to the area of Old Cairo; first stop will be in the Hanging Church which was built in the 7th century. This old church takes its name from its location: sited above a gateway in the old Roman fortress. Admire the courtyard and interior with its screens, marble pulpit and icons, and hear about its long history.

Then walking to visit Abu Serga church, where the holy family is said to have found refuge. Then, take a look at the Ben Ezra Synagogue, once a Christian church. Then proceed to visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Then Back to your hotel.
