Next to the great pyramid are the pyramids of  the son Chephren and  the grandson Mycarinous, you'll be able to take a close up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, the place where the priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid.

 You'll enjoy lunch at  a nice local restaurant, then proceed to Saqqara (the necropolis of the Ancient Egyptians) to view the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest large-scale stone monument. Learn why it was built.

then, Take advantage of some free time to tour the historic tombs and mastaba buildings. You'll board a Felucca boat in the afternoon for a leisurely trip down the Nile River. Unwind as you pass luscious flora and vibrant markets as you cruise. Onboard, savor a delicious lunch while taking pictures of the breathtaking scenery.

Finally you will be escorted by your guide back to your cruise ship (Departure time from Cairo depends on the departure time of your ship at Sokhna port).
