Explore the top attractions in Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor during Egypt's 2027 eclipse. In addition to many other attractions like the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, and the magnificent architectural structures of Old Islamic Cairo, it begins in Cairo with the sight of "The Great Pyramids of Giza," everyone's dream. After that, take a plane to Luxor to witness the eclipse from the Karnak temples. For six minutes and twenty-three seconds, the rest of the world will be enveloped in a mystical twilight as the moon descends upon the sun.

Explore the historic marvels of the Nile River on the Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. sailing and taking in tours of some of Egypt's most valuable sites, such as the Philae Temple in Aswan, the Valley of the Kings, and Luxor Temple. In between excursions, make use of the cozy onboard amenities and discover the mysteries and tales surrounding the artifacts while observing Egyptian life in progress. For further information... Day 1

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, our Egypt Joy Travel representative will be waiting for you to pick you up to your Hotel. In evening it will be free time & overnight in Cairo. Your hotel accommodation in Cairo is based on B&B.

Day 2

Following breakfast... The Step Pyramid of Zoser, the oldest large-scale stone construction in the world, is located 30 minutes away from Saqqara, the necropolis of the Ancient Egyptians, where our Egyptologist guide will pick you up to begin your tour. You'll discover why it was constructed there. You will see the Great Pyramids of Giza after having lunch at a pleasant local eatery. The Great Pyramid, the greatest pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), is the sole surviving example of the Seven Wonders of the World. The pyramids of the grandson Mycarinous and the son Chephren are located next to the Great Pyramid. The Sphinx, the fabled protector that stands by the massive funerary complex with its lion body and King Chephren's head, will be visible up close. A visit to the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified King Chephren's body—the owner of the second pyramid—is another part of the excursion. You will be returned to your hotel at the conclusion.

Day 3

After breakfast... Our Egyptologist guide will pick you up to take you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the biggest museum for one civilization. Proceed to enjoy lunch at a nice local restaurant, then continue to visit Saladin Citadel and Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which is situated on the summit of the Citadel of Salah El Din (constructed in 1183 AD). This Ottoman mosque is the largest to be built in the first half of the 19th century and the most visible mosque in Cairo. Proceed to the Old Cairo neighborhood; the Hanging Church, which dates back to the seventh century, will be your first visit. The position of this ancient church, which is situated over a doorway of the former Roman stronghold, gives it its name. Hear about its lengthy history while seeing the courtyard and interior with its screens, marble pulpit, and icons. Next, go to Abu Serga Church, where it is believed that the holy family sought sanctuary. Next, visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was formerly a Christian church. Next, travel to Cairo International Airport for your trip to Luxor after visiting Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most well-known and historic bazaars in the Middle East. You will see the universe realign as the sun is completely engulfed by the moon, plunging the heavens into the majestic blackness of the century's longest total solar eclipse, while suspended high over the boundless expanse of golden desert sands. early Morning: Visit The East Bank of Luxor (Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple) * August 2, 2027: Enjoy a peaceful morning at your hotel while anticipating the 2027 Solar Eclipse, the ultimate celestial show. You will travel to Karnak Temple, a hallowed place so old that its stones seem to whisper the pharaohs' secrets, in a private car. Here, among the imposing Hypostyle Hall and enormous pylons honoring Amun-Ra, you will be prepared to see something that surpasses even the greatest accomplishments of antiquity. The world around you will be bathed in the dreamy tones of dusk when the moon silences the sun. The daylight azure will be pierced by stars, and the moon's silhouette will be surrounded by a magnificent corona of fire. You are engulfed in this celestial ballet for six minutes and twenty-three seconds, during which time stands still. Breathe in the profound cosmic silence, establish a connection with the cosmos, and commit this transcendent memory to your soul—a life-changing experience. Basking in the warm, golden glow of the afternoon sun, you resume your trek to the magnificent Luxor Temple after emerging from the wonder of the eclipse. Your expert Egyptologist guide will breathe life into the hieroglyphs inscribed upon the temple walls, narrating fascinating tales of pharaohs, gods, grand victories, and ancient celebrations. As evening falls, you will embark on your 4-night luxury Nile River cruise from Luxor to Aswan, beginning a majestic voyage down the river of history. * 12:00 Board the Nile Cruise. * Lunch on board. * Dinner on board. * Overnight in Luxor.

Day 5

* breakfast on board. * After breakfast, see Luxor's West Bank, which includes the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings. * Onboard lunch. * At noon, sail to Edfu, passing through the Lock of Esna. * Dinner aboard. * Evening: Take advantage of the onboard night time entertainment. * Spend the night at Edfu.

Day 6

* There's breakfast on board. * Morning: Visit the Horus Temple in Edfu before sailing to Kom Ombo. * Onboard lunch. * In the afternoon, sail to Aswan after visiting the Kom Ombo Temple. * Dinner aboard. * Evening: Take advantage of the onboard nighttime entertainment. * Spend the night in Aswan.

Day 7

* Breakfast on board. * Early morning: tour to the Great Temple of Abu Simbel built by the king Ramses II * Lunch on board. * Optional tour, afternoon: tour by boat around Aswan Islands to the Nubian Village (additional cost will be added). * Dinner on board. * Overnight in Aswan.

Day 8

* 8:00am Check-out. * Breakfast on board. * Morning: Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple. Then you will be transferred to Aswan domestic airport to fly back to Cairo airport * Check in to your 4-star hotel in Cairo to stay for one night. The hotel accommodation in Cairo is based on B&B.

Day 9

After breakfast and check-out from your hotel, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport, where you will be met by an Egypt Joy representative to say goodbye and then to take your flight back home safely from the same airport. * In case some place has been missed from the first day (due to international flight delay, something out of control, etc.). It could be done on this day after a prior coordination with Egypt Joy Travel's Customer Services Department for more details.
